🚴 464 miles. Six weeks. One very special Journey 💛

Jersey teenager Rosie is taking on an incredible cycling challenge, riding 464 miles, the same distance from her home in Jersey to the UK hospital where her younger sister Esme is receiving specialist treatment.

Along for every mile will be a Family First Brave Bear attached to Rosie’s bike, matching the bear her sister has with her in hospital and providing a special reminder that, even when families are separated, they are never truly alone.

Rosie is taking on the challenge to give back to Family First Jersey, which supports Island families when a child needs to travel off-island for specialist medical treatment.

The response has already been amazing. Rosie originally set out to raise £500 and has already raised more than four times her original target. 👏

Every extra donation will help Family First continue providing practical and emotional support to families when they need it most.

🌊 Tomorrow, teams will take on the Jersey France Challenge 2026!

Starting from the shores of Jersey, swimmers will tackle an incredible 14-mile relay across the Channel to France, working together to reach the finish near Carteret.

But this challenge is about much more than reaching the other side.

Participants have already raised an incredible £42,000+ for Dementia Jersey, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting people affected by dementia across the Island. 💙

A huge good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow, from the swimmers in the water to the skippers and support crews helping them along the way.

There is still time to support the teams and add to this fantastic fundraising total:

Prosperity 24.7 2026 is here, and the fundraising race is already on.

Taking place on Friday 26 June, Prosperity Day brings corporate teams together for a fast-paced stationary cycling challenge, going head to head on Wahoo KICKR bikes as they take on a virtual stage of the Tour de France.

But this event is not just about who crosses the line first. Fundraising plays a huge part in the final leaderboard, with teams competing to raise as much as possible for two brilliant local charities: Mind Jersey and Dementia Jersey.

Over the past 10 years, Prosperity Day has raised more than £203,000 for local charities, and this year the teams are aiming to add another £40,000 to that total.

You can follow the leaderboard, support a team and help push the fundraising total even higher through Sports Giving.

A powerful challenge for an important cause 💪

The States of Jersey Prison Service team are taking on a 5-hour non-stop Hyrox challenge, bringing together 5 members of staff and 7 prisoners to raise money for Focus on Mental Illness.

The challenge is about more than endurance. It is about raising awareness, opening up conversations around mental health, and helping to show that support is out there.

Their message is simple but important: it is OK not to be OK, and no one has to face mental illness alone.

They have already smashed their original fundraising target, which is brilliant to see.

85 miles. 24 hours. One incredible challenge.

On 20 and 21 June, Jules Denning is taking on the Parish Walk, one of the Isle of Man’s toughest endurance events, to raise money for Rock 2 Recovery UK.

The Parish Walk covers 85 miles around the island, taking in all 17 parish churches, with walkers pushing themselves through a huge physical and mental challenge.

By fundraising through Sports Giving, Jules has one simple place to share her story, collect donations and keep supporters connected to the challenge.

That is what good fundraising technology should do.
Make the story easy to share.
Make donations simple.
Help supporters get behind the causes that matter.

Good luck Jules, an amazing effort for Rock2Recovery. Find out more and donate through SportsGiving, link in the comments.

The countdown is on for the Island Walk Jersey 2026 👟

On Saturday 20 June, walkers will take on 48.1 miles around Jersey in support of local charities and causes.

It is one of the island’s toughest and most meaningful fundraising challenges, bringing together walkers, supporters, charities and the wider community.

Through Sports Giving, each fundraiser has a clear place to share their story, collect donations and make it easy for friends, family and supporters to give.

For supporters, it keeps the donation journey simple.
For charities, it helps turn every mile into meaningful support.

For walkers, it gives their challenge a dedicated fundraising home from start to finish.

Good luck to everyone putting in the final training miles.
