Working closely with the management team at Brighton Marina, we’ve now completed the pointing repairs and replaced damaged bricks where needed across Victory Mews.

All elevations have also been cleaned using our DOFF system, leaving the building ready for the decorators to take over. They’re now working their way through the redecoration, with the scaffold due to be struck shortly as the project moves towards completion.

A new major works project is getting underway on Fourth Avenue, where we’ll once again be working closely with an existing client.

The programme will include chimney repairs, replacement of the roof to the northern end, repointing and full external redecoration. There’s a good package of work ahead, and we’ll be sharing updates as the project moves forward.

The roof at Westbourne Place is almost finished, with the team working hard to complete the works and carry out the necessary repairs to the firewalls.

Attention will now turn to preparing the exterior for decoration, while we assess the windows to establish the extent of the repairs needed before moving into the next stage.

The repair and redecoration works at 14 Brunswick Square are now nearing completion, with the team working through the final areas of this Regency building.

We’ve had a positive sign-off meeting with the building surveyor, with just one or two additional roofing items requested by the freeholder still to be completed. Once these are finished, the scaffolding will be struck, and the building handed back to the client.

The decorating team have been working through the front elevation at 46 Brunswick Square, carrying out the preparation and repairs needed before redecoration begins.

With loose and failed areas being dealt with properly, the building is now being readied for the next stage of the programme. On a Regency property like this, getting the preparation right is an important part of achieving a clean and lasting finish.

Just down the road from our previous external renovation project on Westbourne Place in Hove, we were contacted by a different client after slates had started falling from the roof and into the street.

Our first step was to inspect the roof using our cherry picker and report back on what we found. Since then, the scaffold has been erected and we are now ready to begin works on the south elevation, alongside carrying out the essential roof repairs followed by a full redecoration. Works are now underway at 46 Brunswick Square, with preparation started across the front elevation and the render repairs now followed through. This next stage is starting to move the project on from the early strip-back and into the repair phase, as the wider front elevation renovation begins to take shape.

There’s still plenty to come on this one, but it’s a good step forward as the programme starts to come together.

A look at the difference from start to finish at 3 Cavendish Place.

This external maintenance project included roofing, render and joinery repairs, along with window and door repairs, ironwork repairs and full redecoration. A lot has gone into this one, and the end result speaks for itself!

Work is moving on well at 14 Brunswick Square, where the preparation stage has now been carried out across this Regency building. A large amount of delaminating paint has been removed, the render repairs have been completed, and the project is now ready for the decorating phase.

From here, the decorators will be working in line with the Brunswick Estate specification as the front elevation continues to come back together.

Work is now well underway at Victory Mews in Brighton Marina, with the masonry repairs progressing across the block as we rake out failed joints and prepare for fresh pointing. Access has been from both the scaffold and our in house cherry picker, as we work through the masonry and get each area properly prepared.

Once the repointing is complete, we’ll be bringing in the DOFF cleaner to wash down the brickwork and masonry ahead of the next stage of the programme.
