Q: What is your role at Heffernan Utilities?
“I lead the end-to-end delivery of major projects across the electricity and water sectors, ensuring critical infrastructure is designed, built, and commissioned safely and to the required standards.
My role covers the full project lifecycle, from planning and stakeholder engagement to delivery and handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex programmes on time and within budget.”
Q: What does your day-to-day involve?
“A typical day involves coordinating project delivery across different stages, working with engineers, contractors, consultants, and operational staff to ensure alignment.
It includes developing and reviewing project plans, managing risk and change, overseeing procurement strategies, and maintaining control of costs and schedules.”
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Heffernan Utilities?
“I've developed strong, positive relationships with both my colleagues and contractors, and over the past year, I've greatly expanded my knowledge.
I am continuously building on this and learning something new every day!”
