Productive Sunday today! One of our fantastic customers have requested for a survey for a new immersion heater for their hot water system.
Our brilliant engineer found a few flaws on the system including an undersized expansion vessel.
Whilst we were there, I began looking into their faulty monoblock chiller, where I needed to replace the evaporator coil and found yet another leak on the condenser coil! I've taken it off site to attempt to repair the condenser coil and then pressure testing it, followed by submerging it in water under pressure to ensure no pinholes are present as they are extremely difficult to spot under the fins in low light and access too small for an infant!

Potential restriction on this system, meaning recovery of the whole systems charge and a full assessment of the pipework! This one is going to be very labour intensive!

Even when we are on call out stand-by, we try our best to get the quick jobs done! De-commissioning of a Mitsubishi Electric system done this morning.

A lot of maintenances and fault diagnosis this week. We had the pleasure of working for some incredible clients, including the most expensive carpet we've ever worked on.. Meaning careful and methodical ways of operating our usual maintenance and fault finding scope of works.

We always make the most effort to leave site as we found it so this wasn't much more out of the ordinary.

5am start this morning for some maintenance over one of our favourite chain of Gyms.
Mandatory maintenance keeps your systems running longer by keeping them healthy. A couple of minor remedials to pick up on this one in the future but it sure saves four figure bills!

Lovely mix of variations of kit to service over this weekend for our friends on a site for Polair AC. This one was absolutely huge!
The usual Delta-T recordings, filter cleaning, non-invasive leak checks, drain outlets pulled, heat exchanger cleans. Believe it or not, the difference is day and night! Brilliant customers make the days go too quickly.

Daikin Althermas ready for commissioning this week! Who says that plumbers and AC engineers have to be arch enemies? Hot water tanks out, ASHP's in!

2 birds with one stone today. We came in to have a look at a leaking AC unit with seriously blocked filters, which was immediately rectified with a new pump and a quick clean to the filters.

3 minutes down the road in the same food chain, we had a failed walk in chiller to diagnose!

Our aim is to keep the businesses running where we can as quickly as we can.
