Following last month's teaser, we can reveal the Filey project was in fact a brand new build! The clue is in the name - 'The Forge', that's right it's a forgery! The building was designed to replicate a traditional outbuilding on backland in the centre of Filey. Credit to the builders who executed it exactly to our design and recommendations - including the name!

Yesterday we were delighted to have been invited to the Bridlington Ambassador’s Business Awards and dinner at Belvedere Golf Club.

We were notified last year that Dixon & Associates had been shortlisted for the External Improvements Award. This was in recognition of our involvement with various high profile local projects including the restoration of the former Brentwood Hotel on Marlborough Terrace; the improvements at the former Barclays Bank on Manor Street; and the re-development of the former orthodontist centre (Nags Head) on Market Place.

Amongst fierce competition we are thrilled to have been awarded runner up in our category!

Although we are instrumental in bringing about change for the better, equal thanks must be given to our clients who choose to invest their hard earnt money into Bridlington and their skilled contractors without which our work can never be realised.

Finally, special thanks to Martyn Coltman who was the sponsor of our category, and for all the work he does for Bridlington.

Whilst we take a few days rest over the festive period, we would like to wish all of our clients and followers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The office is now closed for a few days and will reopen on Monday 5th January.
