🏠 Out with the old, in with the new! 🏠

Another transformation completed! 👌

We removed the old cement verge and replaced it with a sleek, black dry verge system, giving the roof a much smarter, cleaner and more modern finish.

🔨 It wasn’t just a cosmetic upgrade! We also had to reinforce the gable end rafter, as the weight of the old cement verge had caused the timber to drop. This ensured the structure was properly supported before completing the installation.

Roofing Works Specification – 3-Layer Torch-On Felt System

- Remove and dispose of the existing roof covering to expose the roof structure.
- Install insulation between the existing roof rafters.
- Supply and install new 18mm OSB roof decking, securely fixed to provide a suitable substrate for the new roof covering.
- Supply and install a new 3-layer torch-on Axter felt roofing system, providing a durable, weatherproof finish.
- Supply and install new uPVC fascia boards and guttering around the roof perimeter.
- Ensure all roof edges, junctions and perimeter details are properly finished to provide a neat, secure and watertight installation.
- Remove all roofing waste and leave the work area clean and tidy upon completion.

Flat Roof Replacement & Roof Lantern Installation

Another flat roofing project completed to a high standard.

The existing flat roof was completely removed, and the roof structure was carefully adapted to accommodate a new 1m x 2m roof lantern.

The work included:

- Removal of the existing flat roofing system.
- Cutting the roof opening to the correct dimensions.
- Installation of new structural timbers to suit the roof lantern.
- Construction of a secure timber frame for the lantern to sit into.
- Installation of a new three-layer torch-on felt roofing system, providing a durable, weather-resistant finish.

The result is a professionally finished flat roof, with a new roof lantern designed to bring additional natural light into the property.

Another failed GRP roof was removed and replaced with a new EPDM rubber roofing system.

The existing roof was stripped back, with new OSB decking installed to create a smooth, solid and suitable surface for the EPDM membrane.

A clean, durable finish designed to provide long-term protection against the elements.
