With both door leaves fully opened, you get a clear opening of approximately 1,750mm, making it much easier to load and unload larger, bulkier items that would be difficult to fit through a standard single door.

Whether you are storing machinery, equipment, furniture or oversized materials, the wider access provides added convenience without increasing the container’s footprint.

How flexible are our flat pack cabins when access is difficult?

Here is a great example: one of our 10ft flat pack cabins, installed alongside one of the canals in Camden, on top of a decking platform over the water. It was hidded but still we could spot 😃📸

Because the cabin is supplied in individual components, it can be carried through restricted access areas and assembled in locations where delivering a traditional fully built cabin would be difficult—or sometimes impossible.

And we have seen some interesting locations over the years!

🏡 Hard-to-reach back gardens
🚗 Enclosed car parks
🏗️ On top of scaffold platforms
🏢 Inside multi-storey buildings
🏙️ Even on building rooftops!

That’s one of the biggest advantages of a man-portable flat pack cabin: if you can get the individual components there, there is a good chance you can build the cabin there too.

Restricted access? It doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t have a cabin.

Our latest Flat Pack Container delivery came with one of London’s most iconic backdrops this morning 🇬🇧

Although our Flat Pack Containers are designed to be man-portable and can normally be unloaded by 2-4 people, we are certainly not going to say no when there’s a crane on site, especially if it means getting some fantastic photos with Tower Bridge, the City of London, and Bank in the background! 🏗️

All of our Flat Pack Containers are supplied with lifting eyes as standard, making unloading even easier if you have access to a forklift, telehandler, crane, or even a digger.
