Belper VPI Render System is well underway 👌

Rob has been busy preparing the substrate, with the mesh application now taking place and everything being levelled to precision ready for the next stage.

We won’t be completing this one tomorrow as rain is forecast for Friday afternoon 🌧️. Rather than risk the weather compromising the finish, we’ll leave it at this stage and return Monday to carry on.

Quality over rushing, every time. 💪

Chop off completed by Liam and we’re ready for the first stage of the VPI render system tomorrow! 💪

A full clean-up has been carried out and all drains and surrounding areas have been carefully protected, making sure everything is prepared properly before the render goes on.

The prep is done, the site is tidy, and we’re ready for the next stage.

And after many months of working on this project, we’ve finally completed our part! 🏡

It’s been an absolute pleasure supporting this family throughout the project and playing our part in bringing their home one step closer to completion.

We’re really proud of the work we’ve carried out and, hopefully, they’ll now be able to get everything finished in time for Christmas. 🎄

Over the last few days, the team have been working on a boarding project in Belper, preparing the area ready for plastering tomorrow.

This project has required a combination of different boarding systems, including cement boards in the shower area, soundbloc boards for improved acoustic performance, and standard plasterboard throughout other areas.

Following an issue with the shower tray installation by the plumbing contractor, Rob carefully assessed the situation and specified the use of cement board to ensure the correct substrate was provided in this moisture-sensitive area. This approach helps create a more durable and reliable finish, particularly where water exposure is a consideration.

At RDL, we pride ourselves on assessing each project individually and using the correct materials and methods rather than simply choosing the quickest option. Attention to detail at this stage is essential to achieving a high-quality finish that lasts.

The area is now fully prepared and ready for plastering, where the team will complete the next stage of the transformation.

Another busy week ahead for the RDL team!

We’re heading over to Belper for a boarding and plastering project, followed by another chop-off and rendering job — also in Belper. Plenty of preparation, skill and attention to detail going into these upcoming projects.

Behind the scenes, Emma will be keeping everything running smoothly, organising materials and making sure the teams have everything they need… all while navigating the small challenge of having no car at the moment! 🚗

Nothing stops the RDL wheels turning. The diary is busy, the teams are working hard, and we’re continuing to deliver the quality finishes our customers trust us for.

Another fantastic transformation completed by the RDL team.

Today’s project showcases the VPI monocouche render system, carefully applied and rubbed down to achieve a beautiful, consistent finish. The colour match to the customer’s existing render was exceptional, allowing us to blend the new work seamlessly with the original finish.

The lads worked hard to get this one over the line, although they unfortunately lost the light before the final clean-up photos could be captured. The finished result will only continue to improve as the render dries and the true colour develops.

VPI is a superb render system, offering a durable, high-quality finish that not only looks great but is built to stand the test of time.
