“The finished space is better than we ever imagined it would be.”

Modest in scale, but transformational in impact, this extension in Sutton Coldfield has completely changed the way the rear of this family home works, creating a strong connection with the newly landscaped garden. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space now flows seamlessly through large, level-threshold sliding doors onto the terrace, bringing the outside in and making the most of the garden beyond.

Our clients also described the project as having “completely transformed the house”, adding that it has genuinely changed how they use their home and that they “absolutely love it.” It’s always incredibly rewarding to hear that a project has made such a difference to the way a family lives in their home.

We’re delighted to have submitted this replacement new-build dwelling for planning on a stunning rural site in Earlswood, Warwickshire. Located within the Green Belt, the home has been designed to sit peacefully amongst the existing woodland, with no loss of trees and a strong focus on respecting the natural setting.

Muted natural cladding, generous glazing and carefully considered positioning allow the architecture to blend into the landscape while making the most of the views and natural light. More information over on our website.

Popped in to see how things were progressing at this Sutton Coldfield extension project. Opening up the rear of this property has transformed the way the house feels. ✅ Planning approval and Calthorpe Conservation consent secured for the extension and remodelling of this villa in Edgbaston.

The project includes expanded living spaces, additional bedrooms, a new master suite with balcony, and a loft conversion featuring a home office and games room. Designed to enhance the original character of the property while carefully responding to its Conservation Area setting, construction is now set to begin on site.

Looking back at this bespoke house extension in Sutton Coldfield, designed to bring light, flow and a strong connection to the garden. Working closely with our client, we created a glazed single-storey extension with cedar cladding and a charcoal zinc roof, carefully shaped to stitch into an earlier addition.

Slim-framed sliding doors open fully to a landscaped terrace and outdoor kitchen, while the extended kitchen and living areas sit beneath a faceted vaulted ceiling that draws daylight deep into the plan. A calm, contemporary upgrade that transforms how the home is used every day.
