Today we completed the second fix on a kitchen remodel, installing sleek black accessories throughout to finish off the modern look.

We fitted 3 bowl lights above the island, 2 additional lights around the kitchen worktops, and a further feature light on the opposite side of the kitchen.

Another project taking shape with quality electrical work and attention to detail. ⚡

Job Completed – Spotlight & Outdoor Socket Replacement

Today we attended a property to carry out several electrical improvements and fault repairs.

✅ Replaced and rewired 11 spotlights that were previously supplied via an old, noisy transformer located in the loft. The outdated transformer was removed and the lighting circuit was upgraded to provide a safer and more reliable installation.

✅ Replaced 2 poorly installed outdoor sockets, ensuring they were correctly fitted and compliant with current regulations.

✅ Diagnosed and repaired a fault affecting the garage lighting, restoring full operation to the circuit.

All works were completed successfully, leaving the installation safer, more reliable, and ready for continued use. ⚡️🔧

Today we returned to complete the final connection of a hot tub installation.

The supply was connected from the rotary isolator directly into the hot tub, with all testing and checks completed to ensure the installation is safe and ready for use.

Just in time for the sunny weather – the client can now enjoy their hot tub with complete peace of mind. ☀️🔌♨️

Another hot tub installation completed today ⚡️♨️

We installed a dedicated hot tub supply complete with a rotary isolator, while also uprating the cable to a 10mm swa to future-proof the installation for any larger or more powerful hot tubs in the future.

All work was completed safely, neatly, and fully tested to ensure a reliable outdoor power supply ready for use

Dead Testing :
• Remove around 20% of accessories (or agreed sampling rate) for inspection
• Check connections are tight, look for damage, overheating, or poor workmanship
• Continuity testing (CPCs, ring finals end-to-end, bonding conductors)
• Polarity checks to confirm correct connections
• Refit all accessories securely
• Insulation resistance testing between conductors on each circuit

Live Testing:
• Verify supply characteristics (Ze, PFC, voltage) before energising
• Re-energise circuits
• Earth fault loop impedance (Zs) test on each circuit
• RCD testing (trip times & operation)
• Functional testing of all mcbs , isolators & devices

Final Stage:
• Final walk around to ensure installation is safe to leave energised
• Compile a full report with any observations found (C1, C2, C3, FI)
• Provide recommendations, remedials if required & overall outcome
