A great day for a great cause.

Our team at Blade Access joined Blade Roofing in Leeds for their charity 5 a side football tournament, raising money for The Jordan Legacy CIC.

It was a brilliant day with plenty of competition on the pitch, but more importantly, a chance to come together with colleagues, customers and suppliers while supporting a cause that matters.

We also had the opportunity to hear from Steve Phillip from The Jordan Legacy, sharing an important message about mental health and su***de within the construction industry.

A big thank you to everyone who organised the event, took part and helped raise money for The Jordan Legacy.

Well done to everyone who participated in the tournament. The team will be looking to bring it home next time. We can't wait till the next one.

Blade Access recently completed a signage installation at Bradford City Football Club using one of our Palfinger P450 truck mounted platforms.

With a working height of 45m, up to 26m of horizontal outreach and a safe working load of 600kg, the Palfinger P450 was the ideal machine for the job. Its impressive reach and flexibility allowed the installation team to work safely and efficiently while keeping disruption around the stadium to a minimum.

As with every project, careful planning and coordination were key to ensuring the work was completed safely and efficiently. The platform provided stable access throughout the installation, allowing the team to position the new signage accurately and complete the job with confidence.

Blade Access recently completed a high level survey of a school clock tower in Hull using one of our Palfinger P750 truck mounted platforms.

High level cleaning on critical infrastructure takes more than just height. It needs the right equipment, diligent planning and a strong focus on safety. Blade Access recently supported a pressure washing and cladding clean at Daedalus Converter Station IFA2, working alongside National Grid.

With the scale of the structure and the access required, two of our Palfinger P480 48m truck mounted platforms were sent to site. Both machines were fully earthed to meet site requirements, giving the team safe and reliable access across the building. The reach and positioning of the platforms meant large areas of cladding could be cleaned efficiently without compromising safety.

Before arriving on site, our team carried out detailed planning to make sure everything ran smoothly. This included safe setup, clear working zones and close coordination with other contractors.
