Rear elevation of an extension that we have been working on.
Turned out nice again! 😎🤝

Issue:
Gable end of a property in need of repointing and the verge in a poor state. The rain was soaking through the cavity and presenting on the inside.

Solution:
The whole gable raked out using an industrial hoover to minimise the dust.
We then repointed with a stronger, more robust mortar to eliminate the risk of future wether damage.
Verge removed & replaced.

Sorted!

I’ve seen this problem on several houses in BOA.
Don’t let it be an issue at your home.
Let a local tradesman put this straight. 😎👍

Here’s what can be achieved in a day.
4.5 packs of blocks!
Walls built on a continuing fish pond project! 😎👊🐠
This will be really lovely when it’s all done! 👏

My apprentice left his hoodie on a job about 6 weeks ago.
We went back yesterday to find it where he left it…..but scorched by the sun.
Probably should increase the sun screen to factor 50!! ☀️🥵

Enjoyed building this.
Demolished old broken wall.
Rebuilt to previous dimensions in new bricks & reattached all iron work. 🧱😎
