Requirements
Due to the nature of our bespoke projects, candidates must be highly experienced in accessible bathroom installations. As this is a field-based position involving cross-country travel to complete installations across our service areas, you must have your own van and tools.

The role
This is a rewarding, hands-on position where your work directly restores independence. As a key representative of our family-owned company, you will treat every home like your own, providing a clean, professional and empathetic service while bringing our bespoke designs to life for our customers and their families.

Bathing should feel confident, safe and dignified. For many people, a traditional bath has become a source of anxiety rather than relaxation.

When Darren arrived at Mr. and Mrs. D's home, it was clear this bathroom needed to be more than just functional.

Several years ago, Mr. D had a stroke that left him unable to use their bath, making basic routines a daily struggle.

We explored their vision for the family bathroom, moving between the bathroom and downstairs to include Mr. D in every decision.

We focused on combining independence with beautiful design, resulting in this tailored plan:

* We designed a level-access shower using a recessed Onyx tray, and chose to tile the entire room for an elegant, modern look.

* A single fixed glass panel with an open end was settled on for easy, unrestricted access.

* We strategically mounted the riser rail on the side wall, keeping the option open for a future seated operation without installing a seat now.

* The design includes elegant Nuie fixtures (toilet and vanity), stainless steel grab rails and an illuminated mirror.

We have been reflecting on what has been an absolutely monumental year for Absolute Mobility.

Moving to Moss End Garden Village at the end of 2025 launched an exciting new chapter for us.

When Darren started Absolute Mobility in 2009, it was driven by a simple mission to help people with mobility challenges stay safe and independent in the homes they love.

Sixteen years later, that mission hasn't changed, but our capacity to fulfill it certainly has.

Our move to Moss End Garden Village at the end of 2025 represents thousands of conversations with families facing difficult decisions, countless collaborations with occupational therapists to find the right solutions and the privilege of being invited into people's homes during vulnerable times.

With our new home here at Moss End Garden Village comes fresh energy and renewed purpose.

Every accessible bathroom we've designed has taught us something new about what independence means. For some clients, it's the confidence to shower without fear. For others, it's the dignity of privacy restored. For families, it's the peace of mind knowing their loved ones are safe.

This has reinforced what we've always known, that accessibility isn't just safety features and technical specifications but also preserving quality of life, maintaining dignity and ensuring that mobility challenges don't define what's possible.

Our new home at Moss End Garden Village gives us the space and opportunity to serve even more families, to demonstrate even more solutions.
