A day in the life of Sian at Tavan Contractors

You see the roofers on site. You see the finished roofs. You see the socials.

But what you don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes…

• Reading drawings and figuring out what the architects have actually designed
• Ordering materials — obviously with a little help from Anderson’s
• Creating RAMS for every site
• Preparing quotes and sending them out to customers
• Invoicing and keeping on top of payments
• Dealing with warranties and making sure everything is in place
• Dealing with Building Control
• Answering customer enquiries and keeping all our customers updated
• Running all of the social media and creating content
• Running the bookkeeping
• Attending content days
• Keeping Dean semi-sane
• Coming up with ideas and arguing with Dean about why they’re better
• Constantly reminding Dean that, despite it being his company, her ideas are obviously the best

Roofing happens on the roof, but there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes to keep Tavan running.

Sian: keeping the office moving, the paperwork flowing, Dean semi-sane and somehow still getting her own way 👏🏼

A little Saturday transformation for a lovely local customer 🏡

We removed the old wooden fascia and soffit and replaced it with fresh white uPVC fascia, soffit and guttering.

Another job finished, another extremely happy customer.
