To celebrate 20 years of Just Shutters, the British Franchise Association sat down with our founder, Chris Rocker, to look back at the journey so far. 💙

From starting as a local Dorset business to growing a nationwide franchise network, Chris reflects on the milestones, people and values that have shaped Just Shutters over the past two decades.

Today marks two decades since the Just Shutters story began.

What started as one business in Dorset has grown into a national franchise network, built by ambitious business owners, talented teams and people who believed in what the brand could become. 💙

It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, but this anniversary isn’t only about looking back.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some of the people, stories and moments that have shaped our first 20 years, as well as looking ahead to the next chapter of the network.

Meet Tony, the friendly face behind Just Shutters Cambridgeshire. 💙

With a background in construction and project management, plus a hands-on renovation adventure in France, Tony brought plenty of experience with him when he joined the Just Shutters network.

After discovering the brand at a franchise expo with his wife, Susanne, Tony quickly felt at home with the team and saw the opportunity to build something of his own with the backing of an established brand.

Today, he leads Just Shutters Cambridgeshire with the same warm, down-to-earth approach that made him such a natural fit from day one.

📣 We’re hiring: Content & Social Media Assistant

We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic person to join our Marketing team in Southbourne, Bournemouth.

This is a great opportunity for a student or someone at the beginning of their career who loves social media, content creation and marketing, and wants to gain practical, hands-on experience in a busy team.

You’ll be helping with everything from social content, Reels and video editing to graphics, email assets and wider creative projects, while bringing your own ideas and learning along the way.

📍 Southbourne, Bournemouth
🏢 Office-based, part-time role
✨ Professional marketing experience isn’t essential. We’re much more interested in creativity, enthusiasm and potential.
