Another project at Linwood School 🏫
Replaced these old, tired existing doors with modern glazed oak fire doors, bringing a much more contemporary look with a sleek finish to the space while maintaining the required fire protection.

Stepped flat roof completed for an ongoing project in Bournemouth town centre 🔨

Ledger plates on, joists hung, firring strips to create a fall, counter battened for airflow, decked and weatherproofed with an EPDM rubber membrane and all finished off with new fascia, guttering and roof trims 👌🏻🤙🏻

3 Veluxs formed and trimmed out, all metal work completed and tied into existing building

Fresh 'n' new ➡️ Old 'n' nasty 🔨

Out with the tired old tile hanging, in with fresh new Cedral cladding

Installed properly with breathable membrane, battens and aluminium trims with EPDM for full weather protection.

Looks so much better and built to last 👌

Easter holiday works completed at Linwood School

Constructed a new stud partition to form a separate kitchen area, including installation of an FD30 fire-rated door set, frame and vision panel to maintain visibility.

Partition built to meet required fire performance, with the FD30 door set installed in line with manufacturer guidelines: intumescent strips, cold smoke seals and compliant ironmongery all fitted to maintain its rating.

All work carried out with safety, compliance and practicality in mind, ensuring the space is fit for purpose and ready for use ahead of reopening.

Available for commercial projects requiring compliant, high-standard carpentry 👌🏻

Really enjoyable one this 🔨

40° asymmetric pitch roof, with one side running into a flat roof, all while keeping everything within the ceiling zone.

To make it work, I installed a triple joist between the steel beam and steel A-frame, with all common rafters sat on it using reverse birdsmouths and supported with jiffy hangers picking up the plumb cut.

Flat roof formed at a 5° pitch, tied in with a row of diminishing noggins, then cross battened for airflow before ply decking ready for Alwitra and a watertight finish.

Bit of thinking in this one, but that’s what makes it enjoyable 👌

Double hip roof cut and pitched 🔨

Set out to tie into the existing roof using lay boards to form the valleys and create a consistent pitch line throughout.

All rafters birdsmouthed and fixed into the wall plate and joists to prevent spreading and to keep everything tied together, with hips cut in nice and snug and finished off with fascia board ready the plastics and then the felt, batten and slates

Shaker style cupboard built to maximise this hallway space 🔨

Simple, clean lines that suit the property while adding some much-needed storage. Made to measure and fitted to make the most of every inch.
