♨️ Large underfloor heating system complete

Heated Floors designed and supplied this complete 140m² wet underfloor heating system for a large ground floor renovation in Buckinghamshire.

The system was designed across 12 independently controlled heating zones, giving the homeowner individual temperature control throughout the ground floor.

Our team produced a detailed pipe layout and supplied the complete UFH package, including the manifold, controls, pipework and low profile overlay system.

♨️ What is a wet underfloor heating system?

Wet underfloor heating uses warm water flowing through pipes beneath the floor to heat the room from the ground up.

Rather than relying on radiators positioned around a room, the floor becomes the heat emitter, helping to distribute warmth more evenly throughout the space.

♻️ Underfloor heating and renewable energy system.

For this large home in Bledlow, Buckinghamshire, Heated Floors designed and supplied a complete wet underfloor heating system to work alongside two ground source heat pumps.

Underfloor heating is particularly well suited to heat pumps because it can distribute warmth effectively using lower water temperatures, helping the heat pumps operate efficiently while providing comfortable, even heating throughout the home.

The wider project also included solar panels and battery storage, creating a coordinated renewable energy system for the property.
