Damaged underground cable ⚡

We were recently contacted by a customer after an underground cable was damaged by a digger on site.

Our team attended to assess the damage and found that the existing cable had been installed too shallow, leaving it vulnerable during excavation works.

We’re now carrying out the necessary works to install the cable at a greater depth, providing better protection and helping to prevent the same issue from happening again.

Finding the problem, putting it right and making sure the solution lasts. ⚡

A very special visit today 🚁💛

After raising £1,310 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance through our Snowdon challenge, Kacey, Earl and Jake Buss were invited to visit their HQ. It was only right that Jake went along, as the whole challenge was his idea in the first place! 🙌

We learnt so much about how the charity operates and the incredible work the crew do every day. The most moving part was hearing from a man who was rescued by the air ambulance himself. Listening to him share his story really brought home just how vital this service is to our local community.

It's left us more motivated than ever to keep fundraising and support causes like this in the future.

A huge thank you to the team for having us, and to everyone who donated to our Snowdon challenge. 💛

And just like that, another month done!

It’s easy to forget just how much happens in a month when you’re busy getting on with it!

From electrical installations and distribution upgrades to EICRs, remedial works and ongoing compliance, September has certainly kept the team busy. ⚡

Alongside all of that, we became ISO 9001 certified, took on Snowdon and raised an incredible £1,310 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, welcomed new faces to the team and the first of our two new Compliance vehicles. 🚗

And that’s only some of what’s been happening behind the scenes!

A huge thank you to our team for making it all happen, and to our customers for the continued support!

We’re levelling up our Compliance division with not one, but TWO new vehicles joining the fleet.

£1,310 raised — what a result! ❤️🚁

We started our Snowdon challenge with a target of £1,000, and thanks to the incredible support we received, we finished with an amazing £1,310 raised for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser or supported the team along the way. Seeing the total go beyond our original target made every step up Snowdon worth it! 🏔️

And of course, a massive well done to the team for taking on the challenge.

WE’RE NOW ISO 9001 CERTIFIED! 🎉

We’re proud to share that Electrical Testing UK & Installations has successfully completed Stage 2 of our ISO 9001 assessment — and we’ve passed! ✅

This is a huge milestone for ETUK and reflects our commitment to strong processes, consistent quality and continually improving the service we provide to our customers.

As we continue to grow across the industrial, commercial and hazardous area sectors, having the right systems and standards behind us is a massive part of where we’re heading.

A special mention to Tiffany Colley, who has put a huge amount of work into getting us to this point. From preparing for the assessments to making sure everything was in place behind the scenes — your hard work has definitely paid off. 👏
