A huge milestone for ETUK. ❤️

As we look ahead to the New Year, we’re incredibly proud to share a first glimpse of what’s next for Electrical Testing UK.

What you’re seeing is the beginning of our **new unit** — a huge achievement for the business and a real reflection of just how far ETUK has come.

None of this would be possible without the people behind us. To our incredible staff, our customers, and everyone who has supported ETUK along the way — **thank you.** Your hard work, trust and continued support have helped us reach a point we once could only imagine.

We’ve always believed in exceeding limits, pushing forward and creating something we can all be proud of. Seeing ETUK continue to grow is an incredibly proud moment, but this is only the beginning.

This new unit represents more than just a bigger space. It represents the next stage of ETUK, the opportunities ahead and the potential to create more jobs for local people as we continue to grow.

There’s plenty of work still to come before the doors open in the New Year, and we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey.

🚁 Why are we taking on Snowdon?

Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a service that operates right here in our local area — and one that any one of us could find ourselves relying on.

If one of our team, our families, friends or someone in our local community was involved in a serious accident and needed urgent critical care, they could be the people coming to help.

Knowing that this lifesaving service is there when it's needed gives us a huge amount of reassurance.

What makes their work even more remarkable is that they receive no direct government funding for their day-to-day missions and rely on charitable donations to keep their crews responding to emergencies.

That's why Team ETUK is taking on Mount Snowdon to raise £1,000 in support of their work. ⛰️🥾

Whether it's £5, £10 or £50, every donation gets us another step closer and helps support a service that could one day be there for any one of us.

Project update ⚡containment has landed and the team are cracking on.

Our engineers are on site at a new 96,000 sq ft facility in Godmanchester, installing the brackets and framework for 900mm cable ladder throughout the building.

All in preparation for the cabling going in over the coming weeks.

Investing in the right tools for the right job. 🔧

A few years ago, cutting strut on site meant a hacksaw, or a grinder — and a grinder means a hot works permit, extra paperwork, and someone stood by with a fire extinguisher. Then came the bandsaw: better, but noisy, bulky, and still needing a bit of filing to get a clean edge.

Enter the Milwaukee M18 FORCE LOGIC Strut Cutter. Kacey's put it through its paces in our latest video — and the difference is night and day. A perfectly straight cut, first time, no filing, no hot works, no noise complaints from the rest of the team.

It's a small change that adds up to real efficiency gains across every job we use it on — less time prepping, less admin, less faff, more time doing the work that matters. It's safer too: no hot works permit to arrange, no naked flame or sparks on site, and less noise and vibration exposure for the team compared to a grinder or bandsaw.

This September, we're swapping toolboxes for hiking boots to climb Mount Snowdon in support of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance — a service that reaches emergencies in as little as 8 minutes and could be there for any one of us.

Target: £1,000. Every donation gets us closer to the summit.

We're excited to share that two new branded vehicles are on their way to join the fleet — here's a preview of how they'll look once they arrive, kitted out and ready to get our engineers out on the road.
