A very proud moment for everyone at Teamforce Labour. โ˜˜๏ธ

We are delighted to see our CEO, Gerry McCarthy, named Kerry London Person of the Year 2026 by the Kerry Association London.

Gerryโ€™s connection to Kerry has always remained a huge part of who he is, and throughout his years in London he has continued to support the Irish community, numerous charities, sporting clubs and causes both here and back home in Kerry.

As a family-run business, we are incredibly proud to see Gerry recognised not only for his achievements in business, but also for the contribution he has made to the wider community over many years.

Last Sunday, our CEO, Gerry McCarthy, took part in one of the City of London Corporation oldest traditions, walking sheep across Southwark Bridge.
Gerry was recently honoured with the Freedom of the City of London, a historic honour with centuries of tradition behind it.
The tradition celebrates a medieval economic privilege where "Freemen" were granted the right to bring livestock to market over the River Thames without paying a crossing toll.
And for a man from Bahaghs, Cahersiveen, Co.Kerry, perhaps he was always destined for itโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ† Teamforce Operatives of the Month โ€“ Uxbridge Moor

Today I visited Uxbridge Moor Substation alongside our CEO, Gerry McCarthy, to recognise two members of our Teamforce Labour Limited Energy team.

Uxbridge Moor is a major National Grid project being delivered by Murphy and will become the largest substation ever built in the UK, helping meet the significant increase in electricity demand across West London.

More importantly, today was about recognising the people helping to keep such a major project running day to day.

Hanan Desta and Mahlet Tsegaye, two of our TEAM members, were nominated by the Murphy Uxbridge Moor Energy team for their exceptional work ethic and the pride they take in keeping the site welfare and office facilities clean, tidy and welcoming for everyone using them each day.

Roles like these can sometimes go unnoticed, but on a project of this scale, maintaining clean and well-kept facilities for the wider workforce makes a genuine difference.

It was a pleasure for Gerry and me to present Hanan and Mahlet with their Teamforce Operative of the Month certificates and gift vouchers as a thank you for their continued hard work.
