We teamed up with IHG to upgrade staff cycle storage at Manchester’s iconic Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, replacing outdated wheel benders with our 16-Space Two-Tier Bike Rack System.

The result? A 60% increase in cycle parking capacity within the same footprint, creating a tidier, more practical space for staff cycling to
work.

Cycle storage installation completed at Millbrook Place, Crewe.

This 16-space timber clad cycle shelter combines a robust galvanised steel frame, PAR treated timber hit & miss cladding and a durable box profile roof to create secure, practical cycle storage that complements the surrounding development.

The shelter includes 16 semi-vertical cycle racks, making efficient use of the available space, alongside powder coated mesh clad double gates, a drop bolt and digit combination lock for controlled access.

Finished in Black RAL 9005 to match the existing cycle storage, the shelter was supplied in kit form and fully assembled and installed by our experienced installation team during one continuous visit.

Why the safety gear we strap onto cyclists is a symptom of bad design, not good sense.

Picture a ten-year-old heading to the corner shop on foot. Nobody hands her a helmet. Nobody zips her into a fluorescent tabard or clips a flashing light to her coat. She just goes.

Now picture the same ten-year-old making the same trip on a bike. Suddenly it’s a kit list. Helmet. Hi-vis. Front light, rear light, maybe a camera. A conversation about road positioning. A parent who lies awake until she’s back.
