Example sketch proposals.

These drawings are the first step in designing your garden. These loose sketchy plans are a good way to get lots of ideas down early on in the process. It allows for discussion and helps resolve the final design.

These sketch proposals are always to scale and a good way to design the proportions of areas in question, while relating them to other areas / buildings / existing features such as boundaries and trees etc. These drawings are more about spacial arrangement and proportion than design detail or finishes.

We always provide 3 sketch proposals as a rule for any garden design project. This gives the clients lots of choice early on the design process. Clients are free to chooses bits from all three designs or alternatively the my opt for one of the designs with a few changes or tweaks if need be. Planting detail and material / finishes follow on from this stage resulting in the final design.

Final designs are accompanied with a full planting schedule and itemised costing breakdown for all clearance and construction. The only element not costed for is any 3rd party specialist installation such as electrician / plumbers fees. We normally include the cost of cables and suffered lighting units, just not the installation.
