Whoever you use for your gas work make sure they are gas safe registered and hold the relevant qualifications. Its easy to check on gassafe.co.uk

We were called out to a reported smell of gas and found the hob to be fitted incorrectly with the wrong fittings used. The tradesman used wasn't gas safe registered.
