⚡️H-LEC LTD are looking for experienced qualified electricians to join our ever growing team to work on a number of exciting projects throughout the north west and nationwide⚡️

These projects include fixed wire testing, remedial works and general maintenance/installation works on a number of commercial and industrial sites.

This job role includes-
⚡️Excellent rates of pay- wage determined by experience/performance. Overtime and weekend work is readily available
⚡️Company van/laptop/test equipment
⚡️Company perks- days out, team building exercises etc

Ideally this candidate should have:
* NVQ Level 3 (time served electrician)
* 18th edition
* 2391 or 2394/5 City & Guilds (or equivalent)- preferred but not essential
* IPAF
* Full UK driving licence
* PASMA
* Asbestos Awareness
* JIB/ECS Card

Ideally this person would be employed on a permanent basis, however sub contractor roles would also be considered for the right candidate.

⚠️ATTENTION LANDLORDS & TENANTS!⚠️

**Landlords**

⚡️Electrical installations must be inspected and tested before the start of a new tenancy from 1st July 2020.

⚡️Checks must be carried out on any existing tenancies by 1st April 2021.

⚡️These checks must then be carried out on a five yearly basis.

⚡️If any work needs to be carried out in order to make the installation safe, this must be done within 28 days of the initial inspection.

⚡️A copy of the EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) must be provided to both new and retained tenants

⚡️It is your responsibility as a landlord to make sure that the person who carries out the inspection and any repair work highlighted as a result of it is suitably competent.

⚡️Local authorities can impose a fine of up to £30,000 for a breach of the regulations. Where there are multiple breaches, the local authority can impose multiple penalties.

**Tenants**

⚡️By law, your landlord must ensure that the electrical installation in your rented home is safe for the duration of your tenancy.

⚡️If you are a new tenant, this should be completed before you move in.

⚡️For existing tenancies, the landlord must have the electrical checks completed by 1st April 2021.

⚡️They must then provide you with a copy of the Electrical Installation Condition Report, confirming that the property is safe.
