Re-Roof Completed in Preston 🏠

Job completed this week at Sapphire Utility Solutions HQ, Preston.

The front elevation of the building required a full re-roof due to numerous leaks affecting the offices below.

🔨 Works completed:

Reclaimed Welsh slates supplied and fitted across the entire elevation.
Maintenance-free dry-fix ridge system installed to the hips and main ridge.
Box gutter thoroughly cleaned, primed and coated with Lava 20 polyurethane to provide a long-lasting, watertight finish.

Another roof brought back to its best, with quality materials and workmanship designed to stand the test of time.

Double re roof complete today in Adlington.

A 96m2 strip and re tile quickly turned into 192m2 when the adjoining neighbour saw the huge transformation taking place..

Market leading German concrete Crest Anthercite double roll tiles fitted. Chimney stack fitted with all new lead soakers flashing and aprons. Finished with dry verge and dry ridge tiles.

Around 25 new rafters also fitted to these two properties to re line huge deflections in the roof to give us a flat finish 🙌

Awful weather today so time to catch up on a few smaller repair jobs 🌧🔨🔨

Issue - ventilation / Condensation issues inside the loft space causing mould on the bedroom ceiling to this detached property in Westhoughton.

❌️After a quick look around the property, the recently installed fascia soffit and guttering fitted while the windows were being upgraded lacked any ventilation in the soffits. Added that to that the plastic non-breathable membrane fitted under the roof tiles was adding to the issue. ❌️

✅️ 16 x soffit vents added to the main roof and lower kitchen / garage extension

✅️ 8 x inline roof tile vents fitted around the property to create ventilation.
