Awful weather today so time to catch up on a few smaller repair jobs 🌧🔨🔨

Issue - ventilation / Condensation issues inside the loft space causing mould on the bedroom ceiling to this detached property in Westhoughton.

❌️After a quick look around the property, the recently installed fascia soffit and guttering fitted while the windows were being upgraded lacked any ventilation in the soffits. Added that to that the plastic non-breathable membrane fitted under the roof tiles was adding to the issue. ❌️

✅️ 16 x soffit vents added to the main roof and lower kitchen / garage extension

✅️ 8 x inline roof tile vents fitted around the property to create ventilation.

130m2 strip and re tile complete in Westhoughton, Bolton using the German Crest concrete roof tiles. Chimney fully renewed including leadwork, pointing and capping

Strip and re slate complete Bolton..

- cromar pro membrane / 50x25mm treated battens/ eave guards
- code 5 lead valley replaced.
- fascia and gutters upgraded
- two chimney stacks re pointed and flaunched
- re slated using any salvaged existing slates and supplying matching reclaimed slates as required to make the numbers up🔨

Re roof completed in Smithills this week.. full strip off and upgrade of all materials to breathable membrane, eave support guards, treated battens, concrete tiles /ridge tiles, dry ridge and verge systems.

Small pooling flat roof also re designed with falls into a new gutter and finished with firestone membrane. Another happy customer. Onto the next

40m2 Westmoorland random diminishing slate strip and reslate complete in Heaton, Bolton.

Not the biggest of roofs but plenty gone into it to get it right for another 100 + years 🤞🙌
