This one took the team down to 10 Colmore Row, Birmingham.

Pure Vent completed a six-floor FCU fit-out for Pulse Project Solutions, with Steve Williams as the main client contact.

Fan coil units were installed and connected across all six floors, part of a wider mechanical services installation supporting the building's operational and environmental requirements.

On the roof, the team installed risers and AHU works, giving the infrastructure needed to distribute conditioned air through the building.

The FCUs were connected using ISOL ductwork, which needed careful planning to integrate with the rest of the HVAC installation.

Well done to project manager Adam Pierce, and to Roman Turok, who led the fitting and installation.

Cyber Essentials is the UK government's baseline cyber security standard, overseen by the National Cyber Security Centre. It is built around five technical controls covering firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection, and security update management. Certification is independently verified through the IASME Consortium.

For the clients, contractors, and supply chain partners we work with, it means the group has the right protections in place against the most common internet-based threats. An assessed standard that must be renewed every year.

Some jobs are closer to home. This one was on our doorstep.

Named after Bolton's greatest ever player, the Lofthouse Suite at the Toughsheet Community Stadium is the kind of job you remember. CubicWorks brought us in to handle the full mechanical ventilation package, and the team delivered.

Working across three floors, including the plant room and risers, we stripped out the existing ductwork and installed 56 fan coil units with associated ductwork, supply and extract systems, a major air handling unit in the plant room, vertical riser ductwork serving all three floors, and second fix spiral ductwork and circular grilles throughout.

Start to handover was 16 weeks.

Bolton is our home town. Bolton Wanderers Official is the team many of our people follow. This one meant something.
