PLEASE BE AWARE!! BREAK IN AT SHAWS UPHOLSTERY!!

Unfortunately in the early hours of morning we were alerted to our windows being smashed at the workshop and someone trying to enter!!

The person has caused a huge amount of damage to the window and window frame as well as our flooring and a piece of furniture! As much as the damage is very upsetting and will cost to be fixed it’s just very upsetting seeing this happen to your own small family run business.

We hoped that this was an isolated incident, but we have been informed that CCTV footage and ring doorbell footage has been also spotted of this person also trying to break into cars and houses on Aldwick Street in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday 2nd September. So please be cautious if they have caused damage anywhere else.

We have reported this to the police and have given them cctv footage of the person and the incident.

If anyone else has anymore information please contact us.

This has been very upsetting but lucky no one was hurt. Neighbours and other small business just be aware!

Please bare with us while we are adjusting! We are very happy to announce the arrival of a baby girl! A daughter and granddaughter to the shaws upholstery team!

We are currently working through some changes as half of our team is now on maternity leave! So please be aware if we are a little slower with getting back to you with upholstery quotes!

Stunning pair of chairs heading back to a customer this week!
Loved working with this fabric by Stockwell Denim 💙 really nice mix with the look of a linen but soft as velvet! 💙

Pattern matching king does it again! Another stunning chair heading back to a very happy customer last week 🤍
Stripes look amazing on armchairs but definitely needs a very particular eye to cut out and match it all perfectly 👌

Can we take a moment for this chair 💙
This one has sold but we have a little opportunity with this chair!! We have another one!!
We have this chair and a small sofa in the same style ready to be done up! The wood work is slightly darker as these two piece have been save from landfill and needed some TLC!
But if anyone is interested in a chair and small sofa please let us know it can be upholstered in a fabric of your choosing or even the same as this one!!

Something a little different! These started off as tea towels! 🐟🧡
You can find amazing fabric anywhere and rework them in to scatter cushions! Unique way to create some really eye catching cushions!
We make up custom scatter cushions using fabric to order, your own fabric or even bring your own unique ideas to life!
