Another custom timber enclosure completed! 🔨🌲
This project started from the ground up, creating a durable separation between driveway and garden that blends perfectly with the new build.
Here’s how it came together:
✅ Set out and measured the enclosure to maximise the available space.
✅ Installed treated timber posts into concrete to create a solid framework.
✅ Fixed treated gravel boards around the base to keep the timber off the ground and improve longevity.
✅ Added horizontal rails to form the structure for the featheredge cladding.
✅ Installed featheredge boards throughout, creating a clean, seamless finish with excellent privacy.
✅ Built a bespoke timber gate from scratch using a braced frame to prevent sagging over time.
✅ Clad the gate with matching featheredge boards so it blends perfectly with the surrounding panels.
✅ Hung the gate on heavy-duty hinges and finished it with a traditional ring latch for a practical, quality finish.
A simple but effective addition that keeps bins and storage hidden away while adding privacy and improving the overall appearance of the property.
