🥵We've just had a crazily hot spell of weather but the Prince Plumbing cat took things into her own paws and plumbed in a cooling 'bidet tub'. 😹

She's been there ever since! 😸

Thankfully, we still have Rob and Danny, who can solve your plumbing problems (including bidet installations!).

Despite coming to the end of an unseasonably hot spell, the weather is going to cool down substantially towards the end of this next week. 😥

A good thing to do during the summer months is to turn down your heating. 👍

You should reduce the heating to comfortable levels but make sure that the heating will still run.

It’s important to keep things moving in the system as lack of use can cause issues in the system itself. It also prevents unnecessary energy consumption. 😁

OMG! It's almost June - the beginning of meteorological summer is around the corner. HOORAY! ☀️

Here at Prince Plumbing, we are always looking to provide our customers with the best advice.

While your central heating system is getting less use during the summer, it's an ideal time to inspect and clean around the various visible components.

Start by examining the boiler for signs of leakage, corrosion, or unusual noises.

Check the pressure gauge to ensure it is within the recommended range; top up if necessary and if you are familiar & comfortable enough to do so.

The communication from the company is excellent. We received an acknowledgement by email of the time & date of our appointment & a further reminder the day before. Danny arrived at the agreed time.
Reconnecting the gas fire - which we thought would be a fairly simple task - proved anything but, however we were very impressed with Danny's professional approach & his problem solving skills. A really knowledgeable, friendly guy.

The British pub has been the heart of the community since the days of the Roman tabernae 2000 years ago.
These community hubs developed into the Anglo-Saxon alehouses and then into the public houses we enjoy today. Despite more supportive tax rates for eligible venues from April this year, UK pubs continue to close on a weekly basis. 😟

National Beer Garden Day is unofficial but increasingly popular awareness day that encourages people to rally friends, family, co-workers or neighbours to enjoy a well-earned drink in their favourite outdoor pub spot.

Beer gardens are not just places to drink — they’re spaces to unwind, catch up, connect, and maybe enjoy a bit of nature. 🙃

The day is for everyone, whether you’re sipping ale, cider, wine, lemonade, or even a cup of tea! 🫖

I think we can all agree that moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do, and at this time of year some of us will do a deep clean, spruce up the garden and maybe add a lick of paint to our home in preparation for putting it on the market. 😖

But as well as attending to the cosmetic aspect of our property, it is good practice to provide a gas safety record or history of gas safety checks and servicing to provide potential buyers confidence that you have looked after your home and that it is in a good state of repair. 😁

Why not ease some of the stress by making sure your boiler and gas appliances have up-to-date certificates, so when your solicitor asks for them, you'll have them ready. 😇
