Getting the work done well matters. So does keeping to the arrangements you’ve made with your customer.

For this glasshouse extension, the customer wanted the plastering completed in one day rather than two. Jake and the team put in a full day to make that happen, and it’s lovely to hear how pleased they were with the result.

A look at what’s happening on site.

We’ve been working alongside R Selby Plastering on this rendering project, with the exterior starting to take shape as the work progresses.

These photos show the job along the way. There’s plenty that goes into a finished exterior before it’s ready for its final close-up, and it’s good to share that part of the process too.

The decorating is often the part you’re most looking forward to, but a little planning beforehand helps the job run more smoothly.

If you’re moving sockets, changing lighting or repairing damaged surfaces, it helps to discuss the order of work before the plastering starts.

Fresh plaster also needs time to dry before painting, so leave room for that in your plans rather than working to a fixed decorating date.

The van has had a transformation of its own!

Our new wrap is finished, and we’re pleased to have the JL Plastering & Venetian Design name taking pride of place.
