Ridge tiles removed Cleaned re-bedded and pointed replaced all broken tiles and remedial work to chimney
Flat roof Stripped and re-felted with Black Mineral Finish
Even repaired all the broken tiles on the garage roof for free as she looked after us so well

Garage roof stripped and re-felted with a black mineral finish

I do like a good stripper
A rather large flat roof Completed this week
Completely stripped down to joists correctly re-boarded and re-felted with a black mineral finish
The original roof did not look that old but was totally incorrectly done with only one layer of felt and the boards were absolutely saturated with water must have been leaking from day one as the felt just peeled up.
The decking boards themselves were not staggered and certainly did not have enough nails in them causing a lot of play bounce in the roof which in effect caused the felt lift and eventually crack on the joints of the boards
Clad to say the customer now has a solid roof that is going to last..
