Job Role: Approved Electrician
Location: Blackpool/ Preston/ Lancaster. We are based in Blackpool.
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

We conduct EICRs for many of the well known letting agents in the north west and also carry out the remedial works along side many other ongoing projects.

Key duties and responsibilities:
Conduct domestic EICRs in private tenanted properties
Diagnose and repair electrical problems in electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring
Assess parts needed for the job
Complete work orders and record materials used for the job
Provide outstanding workmanship and customer service
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

Must be competent
Able to read and understand drawings
Able to read and produce electrical certificates
comfortable interacting with members of the public
Well presented
Electrical inspection 2391 or equivalent
Time served apprenticeship
GNVQ Level 3 in electrotechnical installations
18th edition Requirements
Good communication skills
Strong organisation skills

Job Duties:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
Review maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
Other duties as requested
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Fault finding and diagnosis
Custom circuit design
Providing professional assessments and advice for customers
Discussing payment options and scheduling with customers
Reviewing maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
Managing peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessary
Managing or working with subcontractors
Training apprentices and/or coworkers
Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
