As schools return next week, we’re looking back at just one of the many summer projects our team has delivered across the North West!

Our in-house, state-of-the-art asphalt plant in Leyland has enabled us to support crucial local infrastructure improvements throughout the summer break, including supplying over 220T of 10mm SMA for a high school outdoor recreational area in Bolton. ♻️

The Fox Group Demolition team has now completed the wall demolition as part of the 400m removal project. 👌

The team has worked safely and efficiently through this stage, including the fence relocation and full road closure.

New demolition project underway at AO Recycling! 👌

All non-licensed asbestos has now been safely removed and the reoccupation certificate has been received.

We’re now starting a 3-week programme of demolition and crushing of the derelict buildings within the Harefield 15 area, belonging to AO.com.

This will be a challenging and complex project, with the site remaining live throughout the works.

More updates to follow as the project progresses.

Fox Group have been carrying out groundworks at the former school site on Butterworth Lane, a 149-plot development across 11 acres. 👌

Works completed so far include:
• Grubbing out existing foundations, footings and hardstanding
• Crushing the material for reuse as piling platforms
• Removing peat from site
• Reusing suitable clay on site where possible

The site has a mix of clay and peat, so careful management and reuse of suitable materials is an important part of the works. ♻️

Following the successful machinery removal at the Gypsum Factory, our demolition team has started a similar project.

The team will gain access through the south wall, carefully removing the box profile sheeting and purlins in a controlled manner. The access will then be stoned up before dismantling and removing the heavy machinery.

All machinery and materials removed will be sent directly to a recycling plant for processing. ♻️

Our demolition team has been working on the first phase of a 400m wall removal project this week.

This stage includes:
✅ Fence relocation
✅ Wall removal
✅ Full road closure to ensure the work is carried out safely and efficiently

Our asphalt plant is marking its first year of production! ♻️

Over the past 12 months, we've focused on more than just manufacturing asphalt. We've built a business centred on quality, reliability, sustainability and technical expertise.

From supplying hundreds of sites to producing a high proportion of products with recycled content, it's been a strong first year.

Another project completed by Fox demo team! 👌

Our team recently completed the demolition of prefabricated buildings at a children's plant nursery in Lytham St Annes, with the project safely delivered in just 4 days.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. Whether it's a major demolition or a smaller project, every job receives the same commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail from our team.

We're proud to have supported Hoole St Michael CE Primary School by completing a range of improvements to its outdoor areas! 😁

After the school approached us for support with its redevelopment plans, our team funded and delivered a new paved patio for an outdoor classroom, supplied a new gazebo, and transformed the outdoor gym area by replacing muddy ground with artificial grass, creating safer, more accessible spaces for pupils to learn and play.

The new facilities were officially opened during the school's annual Hoole Fest celebration. A special thank you to JJ O’Grady, a key part of Fox Group, who carried out the majority of the work on site.
This project is another example of the positive social impact we're committed to creating within our local communities through our FOXWORX ESG programme. 🙌
