We called into our local The Roofing Outlaw branch yesterday to stock up on more LAVA20 and met Geoff Smith, The Roofing Outlaw himself on this visit.

We had the opportunity to tour one of his fantastic new LAVA20 training course rooms and learned more about how the flat roofing industry is moving forward over the next few years. We are looking forward to the Blackpool branch opening soon.

We wish to provide a concise update regarding the advancements in one of our ongoing projects.

The procedure entailed grinding to a minimum depth of 30mm, with dust vacuums employed for efficient suppression.
Subsequently, the brickwork underwent jet washing, scrubbing, and treatment with an environmentally conscious product, specifically selected for its non-cohesive characteristics with lime mortar, in contrast to conventional brick acids and comparable substances.
All compromised bricks were replaced, as their accelerated deterioration was attributed to the presence of cement, which retained moisture within the brick, thereby contributing to their degradation.
The mortar was then meticulously reinstated utilizing a precisely formulated mixture of lime, washed grit sand, and yellow building sand.
To mitigate the impact of the extreme temperatures encountered, the freshly applied mortar was covered with damp hessian to facilitate a controlled and gradual curing process.
A superior LAVA 20 system was professionally installed on the balcony roof, accompanied by a comprehensive 25-year warranty.
The garden area was thoroughly prepared for rendering. A scratch coat was applied and permitted to cure, followed by the application of a top coat incorporating mesh to achieve a robust, crack-resistant finish prior to the final top coat application, which is now prepared for rubbing back.
The remaining tasks encompass the application of the final eco-lime-friendly water sealer and the reinstallation of the balcony rails.
