RAISING THE ROOF
🧱 The scaffolding is up – we’re officially underway! 🧱
If you’ve passed the community centre recently, you’ll have seen the scaffolding going up. This is a big and exciting step as we prepare to replace the roof tiles and protect this much-loved building for the future.
The roof work is essential to keep the centre safe, dry, and usable for everyone who relies on it – from regular groups and events to casual drop-ins and community gatherings. It’s a reminder that this building has served generations, and with your help, it will continue to do so for many more to come.
We’re still fundraising to cover the cost of the roof repairs, and every donation – big or small – really does make a difference. You can donate via the tins around the village, at the centre itself, or through our online giving page.
