What an experience. Would love to work alongside all these great trades people, volunteers & the DIY SOS crew all over again! 🟦

The tradespeople of Southampton deserve a massive round of applause for helping the Ali family👏
Ahmed and Rifat's family were left in dire straits after putting their life savings in a house renovation - and the builder not following through.
Now, they have a home truly fit for their family❤️

What an experience! Although we only played a small part, it was one of the most rewarding projects to date 🙏🏻 much love to all the trades, volunteers & suppliers involved!

10 minutes to go! If you’re not already, get yourself in front of the tv and watch us, and so many more great trades men and women do their bit for a very well deserving family over in bitterne!

🔙 THROWBACK THURSDAY

As we’re currently getting stuck into a large Indian sandstone project, we thought we’d throw it right back 10 years to this one! 👀

This project included approximately 50m² of Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone, creating a large patio area alongside a refresh of the existing shingle driveway.

🌍 A lot has changed in 10 years… but our suppliers haven’t!

Even back then, we were sourcing the same high-quality aggregates and materials from CWM Aggregates Ltd that we continue to rely on today. A decade of working with suppliers we know and trust goes a long way towards maintaining the quality we expect on our projects.

There’s something about natural Indian sandstone that never really goes out of style. Every slab has its own variation in colour, texture and character — and Kandla Grey remains a classic choice even a decade later.

It’s great looking back at projects like this and seeing how far we’ve come, while some things — quality materials, trusted suppliers and pride in the finished job, haven’t changed. 👌

Who else still loves the natural look of Kandla Grey?
