Winnie-the-Pooh is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, marking a century since A.A. Milne's classic stories of the bear of very little brain were first published in book form in October 1926 (following an initial newspaper story appearance in late 1925)

Here at Birchfield library we are celebrating Winnie the Pooh by having a treasure hunt in the library where all the characters will be hiding all around the library and in-between book shelves and you have to come find them.

If you would like to take part in this treasure trail then please join us on Saturday 7th November 2026, the treasure hunt will run all day and there might be a prize to win at the end!

We look forward to seeing you all. 😀
