🚧 Drainage & Finishing Gang Required – Newnham-on-Severn 🚧

We are currently looking for an experienced Drainage & Finishing Gang for works in Newnham-on-Severn, Gloucestershire.

We are looking for a gang experienced in:

• Drainage and associated groundworks
• Kerbing and edgings
• Concrete works
• Ducting
• General finishing works
• Reinstatement and preparation for handover

Applicants must have the relevant CSCS/CPCS/NPORS qualifications and be able to demonstrate experience delivering work to a high standard.

Immediate start available with a good run of work for the right gang.

Celebrating 5 Years of Colmor Construction 🖤🚜

As part of our 5-year celebrations, we wanted to do something a little bit different… and this special-edition black machine certainly does the job!

A huge thank you to TJC Plant for all their help and support in making this happen. From the initial conversations through to getting everything exactly how we wanted it, the team at TJC have been brilliant to work with.

Reaching five years is a milestone we’re extremely proud of. Colmor Construction has grown significantly during that time, and continuing to invest in quality plant and equipment is a big part of where we want to take the business next.

The black certainly makes this one stand out from the fleet! 👌🖤

Building More Than Infrastructure 💚

For the past four months, Colmor Construction has been proudly delivering drainage infrastructure improvements at Camphill Village Trust in Gloucester, helping to upgrade essential services across this unique community.

From the outset, we knew that working within a live community environment would require more than simply delivering the works.

At the start of the project, we held a presentation with members of the community to introduce our team, explain what we would be doing and answer any questions about how the works may affect day-to-day life.

Four months on, it has been fantastic to see the relationships our team has built with everyone at Camphill.

Last week, we decided to put the work to one side for an afternoon and do something a little different! 🍕🚜

We treated the residents and staff to freshly made pizzas and desserts, followed by the opportunity to get up close with some of the plant and equipment we've been using across the site.

The smiles say it all!

It was brilliant seeing everyone getting involved, climbing into the machines and experiencing something that they've been watching our team operate around the community over the past few months.

Camphill Village Trust is a fantastic charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges to lead lives of opportunity, independence and choice. We're extremely proud to be playing a small part in improving the infrastructure within their Gloucester community.

Projects like this also require a genuinely collaborative approach. We're delivering the scheme alongside Greenwood Projects, whose support, professionalism and close working relationship with our team have been instrumental in the progress made so far.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon possible — and particularly to the residents and staff at Camphill for making our team feel so welcome over the last four months.

We're proud of the infrastructure we're leaving behind, but equally proud of the relationships we've built along the way. 💚

As Philanthropy Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering our philanthropy programme, building meaningful relationships with major donors, charitable trusts and foundations and securing significant funding to support our work with people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs.

As Philanthropy Manger you will:

• Lead the development and growth of the Trust’s philanthropy programme
• Build and manage a pipeline of major donors, charitable trusts and foundations
• Research and identify new funding opportunities
• Develop compelling funding propositions and cases for support
• Prepare tailored funding proposals and reports
• Build strong, long-term relationships with high-value funders
• Secure major and transformational gifts
• Manage funding agreements and grant conditions
• Monitor pipeline performance, forecasting income and identifying future opportunities
