Over two build days, so many amazing people came together to help bring The Painted Lady Workshops CIC to life.

And I absolutely love that this space has quite literally been painted and put together by the very community it’s being created for.

So much love, time and effort went into these days. Everyone got stuck in — adults, young people, friends, family and supporters. We painted, cleaned, built, laughed, ate, played music and somehow managed to get a serious amount of work done at the same time. 😂

The atmosphere was everything.

To every single person who turned up, picked up a brush, cleaned something, moved something, built something, brought food, offered advice or simply came to support — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This space already has so much love in it, and we haven't even opened the doors yet. 💚

I got the keys. 🗝️✨

This is the start of a new chapter for The Painted Lady Workshops CIC.

Right now it’s an empty space, rough around the edges and waiting for a lot of love… but I can already see what it’s going to become.
A creative space for workshops, training, meetings, confidence-building, new skills, and new beginnings.

During Stoicism Week in October, The Painted Lady Workshop facilitated a community session exploring the four cardinal virtues — Courage, Temperance, Wisdom and Justice.
Participants engaged in guided creative reflection, examining how these principles support resilience, ethical decision-making and emotional balance in both personal and professional contexts.
The artwork shared here was developed as part of that reflective process.
Philosophical practice, when integrated with creative expression, can be a powerful and accessible tool for personal development.
