Hall, stairs, landing and porch freshly decorated in Open Water 217- Crown, with black woodwork throughout, including the doors.

Lots of prep went into this one before the painting could begin, but it’s well worth the effort. A lovely colour against the black woodwork.

Another 3 storey house finished.
A returning customer, this time in her new home, which was lovely to be asked back for.

Freshened up throughout in white and looking so bright and clean.

The customer kindly sent over these photos afterwards along with this lovely message:

“I wanted to thank Lisa and Ellie for an amazing job!! Their attention to detail is impeccable. They are the best. Nothing is too much trouble and the respect they both have for your home is incredible. Thank you girls you are amazing xx”

Such a lovely message to receive and really appreciated.

little bit of inspiration outside of decorating today🐾

I had the pleasure of meeting artist Doug Hyde this afternoon.

I first became aware of his work after seeing some of his pieces in my customers’ homes while decorating, and I’ve loved his artwork ever since. I think what really drew me to it was the black dog that features in so many of his pieces — it always makes me think of my own black Labrador. 🖤🐾

It’s funny how the homes we work in can introduce us to so many different styles, ideas and artists along the way.

Such a lovely afternoon and great to meet the man behind the artwork!

Walls finished in Candle Smoke ~ a really popular colour at the moment.
Woodwork finished in brilliant white satin

Staircase beautifully varnished, bringing out the natural grain and warmth of the wood

A lovely fresh, modern finish while keeping all that gorgeous character in the staircase and doors.

Before & After

A freshen up on this staircase using Johnstone’s Singing Sand on the walls with Brilliant White on all the woodwork.

There was plenty of prep involved on this one. The new spindles needed a lot of careful masking, and all the cracks in the walls were repaired before decorating to get everything looking right.

Really pleased with how this one turned out. Clean, fresh and ready to last.
