A nice job completed earlier this week for a lovely couple over in Blackwell.

This was the start of a project of renovations for their home. After getting their living room plaster skimmed to give their wall a nice finish, we were contacted and asked to supply and install a set of glazed french doors to separate the front and rear reception rooms and also to install skirting to the perimeter of the room.

A recently completed project for a customer that had a young child that had outgrown their cot bed. The problem was that the bulkhead for the stairs was taking up so much space in their son's bedroom, they couldn't fit a full-size single bed in.

After some initial investigative work, we we able to remove the bulkhead and custom-build a cabin bed suitable to fit a standard-sized single mattress, complete with open-space storage underneath to make the best use of all of the available space. All edges along the materials were chamfered to remove any sharp corners for safety purposes.

I can just imagine how excited the little one will be when he comes home to see his new Big Boy bed.

An IKEA hack project recently completed for a client over in Kings Norton.

This client was looking to get a set of built-in wardrobes installed in their master bedroom but was struggling to find a solution due to the distance between the door frame and the wall not allowing for a full depth unit and the ceiling height not allowing use of the maximum available space.

They thought the only solution was something bespoke but after assessing the room, a solution was achieved by using a combination of IKEA wardrobes and off-the-shelf drawers and by reducing the height of the units and doors to fit the space.

All supplied, customised and installed at a fraction of the cost of a custom build without compromising the quality of finish.

For this job, we were asked to install a dado and panelling in the hallway, stairs and landing at a property over in Kingstanding.

This one is all about setting everything out correctly from the outset - getting the spacing ratios between everything correct and making sure all of the angles are correct to ensure a top quality finish. Needless to say the customer was delighted with the final product and can now get a lick of paint on the walls to get the final result they wanted.

Another set of stairs refreshed for a client over in Smethwick.

This particular job, they wanted to get rid of their old carpets and chose a dark oak veneered clad which we were happy to install for them. Stairs were prepped to remove the carpet grippers, staples and nails before cutting each tread and riser to size and fixing them into place.

Staircase in need of a refresh? No problem!

This client in Rubery wanted to improve the look of their staircase so of course we were happy to oblige. New handrails and spindles from top to bottom, all primed and ready for a lick of paint by the customer to finish off the job.
