Something big is coming… 👀

We’re excited to announce that Tailored Garden Rooms will be exhibiting at Grand Designs Live 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, 2nd–4th October.

And we’re not just turning up with brochures — we’re building a full Tailored Garden Room inside the show.

Designed to showcase exactly what’s possible, our stand will feature a luxury entertainment space complete with a bespoke bar, pool table, feature lighting and some of the finishes that define our rooms.

When space is at a premium, you make every square metre count. 🏡

This 5m × 3m garden room was a particularly interesting project for us.

The homeowners had actually purchased the alleyway running behind their property, allowing them to extend the size of their garden — and create the opportunity for a completely new family space.

We obtained a Lawful Development Certificate for the project before transforming what was previously an unused area at the rear of the garden.

The result? A 15m² garden room designed for the whole family to enjoy.

A large L-shaped sofa, big-screen TV and aluminium bifold doors create a brilliant space for relaxing, entertaining and spending time together.

With bifold doors to the rear of the main house too, the entire layout now has a fantastic inside-outside feel, connecting the home, garden and garden room while still retaining plenty of usable outdoor space.

A great example of what can be achieved when the design is tailored around the property, the available space and how the family actually wants to use it.

A garden room designed for more than just extra space. 🥂🎱

This 6m × 4m Signature Range garden room has been created as the ultimate space to switch off, entertain and enjoy — without leaving home.

The open-corner aluminium glazing completely transforms the room, opening it into the garden and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor feel.

Inside, the space has everything you need for a proper night in — pool table, bespoke bar, TV, feature lighting, air conditioning and plenty of room to relax.

At 24m², it’s a great example of just how much you can achieve with the right design.

Nearly 30m² of space. No planning permission required. And absolutely no compromise on the design.

We revisited one of our recent Signature Garden Room projects today and it’s easily become one of our personal favourites to date.

Designed to work as a professional home office by day and an incredible entertainment space by night, the centrepiece is a bespoke media wall housing a huge TV screen — perfect for films, Netflix nights and switching off at the end of the week.

Externally, the architecture was just as important as the interior.

The buildings frontal elevation wrapped in Millboard Coppered Oak Board & Batten composite cladding, complemented by aluminium louvred privacy screening and a fully powder-coated aluminium soffit and up-and-over canopy. A 500mm overhang across the front and down the right-hand elevation gives the building its distinctive architectural finish.

As approved Millboard installers, it’s exactly the type of detail we love incorporating into our projects.

Inside, our Signature specification includes a fully plastered finish, LVT flooring and heating, with this project taken even further through plastered-in architectural LED tracks, integrated in-glass blinds and air conditioning.

But what really made this project special was the collaboration!

Our clients had an incredible eye for detail and were heavily involved throughout the design process. That input allowed us to create something genuinely personal to them rather than simply another garden room and the finished space speaks for itself!

A huge thank you to them for trusting us with the project! It had been an absolute pleasure!

Right now, it’s all about the steel. Massive openings, huge structural spans, and some of the best views we’ve ever seen on a project. 🤯

This luxury garden room is going to feature a snooker area, entertainment space, and private gym — and today was the start of bringing it to life.

The scale of this one is unreal already… wait until you see the finished result. 👀
