We’ve had a busy couple of weeks carrying out some heavy engineering work.
We installed some steel sheet piles to stabilise the toe of the dam , re engineered the back of the dam using layers of clay keyed in using the compactor wheel , then installed a new concrete outlet monk with a 900mm outlet pipe to ensure the dam can withstand future flooding events…..
Finally after rebuilding and compacting the road was fully resurfaced.

We’ve just completed the dredging of this beautiful old Sussex estate lake which funnily enough I dredged around 25 years ago whilst working for another contractor.
I can’t wait to see this one full with water again it really is an amazing location.

While the water level is down we’ve come in today to fix a small leak on this old park lake and to clear the reed choked outlet.
Thanks to Mark at Penfold Verrall Ltd for supplying a lorry load of clay.
