CNL are a leading supplier of fabricated pipe, process skids, vessels, as well as installing onsite pipework, mechanical erection & testing and term maintenance services for clients in the process, chemical, waste, water, petroleum, nuclear and power supply industries. As well as working directly for the asset owners, we also offer support to asset contractors with supply of fabricated pipework, top up labour and contract lift management and execution. At our state of the art fabrication facility, we can provide fabricated pipe, assembled and commissioned skids and vessels in a range of different dimensions and material grades. We are based in Billingham Teesside in the North East of England, with ideal transport links to allow dispatch of fabricated goods via road, rail, air or ship throughout the UK and Europe. We believe in attention to detail with quality, safety and reliability being the main focus for all our operations.

☕🍰💚 A Morning Full of Cake & Kindness! 💚🍰

What a fantastic Macmillan Coffee Morning we've had at Cavendish Northern Limited!

And at the heart of it all was Bethany Mackay, our Office Administrator, who organised and hosted the morning - and who found herself surrounded by an incredible amount of homemade cake!🎂🧁🍪

A huge thank you, Beth, for all of your hard work, time and effort in bringing everyone together for such an important cause.💚

We'd also like to say a massive thank you to everyone at CNL who baked, donated, bought coffee and cake, and helped make the morning such a success. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.

And most importantly...

We're delighted to have raised an amazing £562 for Macmillan!🎉

To put that into perspective, Macmillan tells us that:

💚 £294 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for one day, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical and emotional support.

💚 £161 could provide emotional support to one person living with cancer for around 8 weeks, through regular support sessions with a Macmillan Buddy.

💚 £27 could help run Macmillan's Online Community Forum for 1 hour, allowing 56 people affected by Cancer across the UK to read, share experiences and support one another.

So, our £562 could help make a real difference to people living with cancer and their families.💚

We'd also like to thank everyone else who supported our fundraising through donations. Every contribution, big or small, has helped us support this incredibly important cause.

🔧PLANT & EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN - IMMEDIATE START | BILLINGHAM

Cavendish Northern Limited is recruiting a Plant & Equipment Technician to join our busy Fabshop in Billingham, with an immediate start available.

With multiple projects currently underway, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on Engineering Construction environment and is looking for a varied role where no two days are quite the same.

🛠️What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and preparing our company plant, vehicles, welding equipment and lifting equipment, ensuring everything is safe, compliant and ready for use when required.

The role will include:
- Day-to-day maintenance and inspections of plant and equipment
- Preparing equipment for upcoming construction projects
- Maintaining accurate equipment records
- Co-ordinating the movement of plant and equipment between our yard and project sites
- Supporting the wider team to ensure equipment is available and project-ready

This is a 38 hour standard working week - 8 hours Monday to Thursday and 6 hours on Friday - with opportunities for OVERTIME when available.

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️Who are we looking for?

We're particularly interested in candidates with a combination of relevant qualifications and experience, including:
- PAT Testing
- LOLER
- IRTEC Inspection Technician
- Plant & Equipment
- Mechanical Engineering
- HGV/Commercial Vehicle Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering

Don't have every qualification listed? That's not necessarily a problem. We have the capacity to provide additional training to the successful candidate where they have relevant, transferable experience and a strong willingness to learn.
