This Jaguar wouldn't recognise its smart keys. After re-synchronising the RFA with the other modules of the immobiliser system and adding a new key, everything is back up and running.

I met a really lovely customer. The customer had only a mechanical key with this Fiat 500 and needed a full functioning 3 button remote key with blade and transponder chip.

A swift turn-around after successfully testing the new unit meeting the customer’s needs.

An "all keys lost" job today on a Jeep Cherokee up near Peterborough. Initially it was to repair or add a new key however by the time we arrived, the only key available had completely failed and it's transponder would not respond, hence AKL. The vehicle was also in alarm.

The vehicle was supported with workshop standard diagnostic backup power for diag programming and a new Fobik IR key was added which enabled the electronic steering lock release and started the engine. We then tested and checked for faults followed by demonstrating operation to the customer who happily gave a glowing review.

Honda Civic was jump started by the customer which led to a software fault and loss of transponder key permissions.

Network modules were re-synchronised and all immobiliser faults cleared which enabled start and run.

Tested, proved and demonstrated to customer. Good to go!

Customer reversed onto their drive and was unable to turn the engine off.
Found that the wafers had collapsed and the barrel was seized to the housing.
Exchanged the switch, housing and barrel.

Back on the road!

This was a Renault Master 2019 in for a new key. The mechanical blade decode was not recognised by my 2 separate key cutting databases so I cut a test blank, tested in door and ignition which was perfect.
Proceeded to cut new blade, test again and programme key. Tested functionality of immobiliser and central locking systems before demonstrating to customer.

Trust me! This van was not broken into. Was asked to repair this - result of attempts by others (2 previous attempts)
All keys lost, needless to say.

Replaced (missing) ignition, repaired & restored wiring & connectors to factory standards. Programmed transponder to immobiliser & central locking systems.
Test & proove functionality.

Back on the road gang!
P.S. vehicle was costing the customer £100/day for the space it had been occupying. SORTED!
