We are aware of an issue with our phones this afternoon. While we work to get this fixed, we can still be reached by email or a message on here. Thank you for your patience 🩵

Honestly, is there anywhere better to live and work? Taking a moment to appreciate the place that we call home. Just like home, we are there when you need us. No job too big or small, pick up the phone and give DS a call.

A project we are proud to have been part of. Quality electrical installation for a beautiful collection of properties, finished to a high standard in of the most idyllic settings near Bude.
If you’re looking for the perfect countryside escape, this place has it all. Peace and quiet, and a fantastic finish throughout.
Another quality installation by our team, helping bring great projects like this to life!

Bringing history back to life ✨

We’ve recently been working on the Old Bideford Bridge, helping return it to its former glory with a new lighting upgrade.

Big thanks to our friends at Bideford Town Council for the help and support.

⚫️🔴⚫️🔴 SPONSOR THANKS 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️

Next up for a massive thanks is D S Electrical!

Darren Sparrey and everyone at the team have been massive supporters since we started helping us with a range of things!

Then when we needed a main sponsor to help with our ever growing Shammy Ability side now which started with 6 and now has over 30, they didn’t hesitate to step up and have done for the last 3 years helping the expansion!

Most importantly for this squad the improvements to the life of these players off the pitch is massive, but it was great to see the first team lift the Premier title this season!

Also the main sponsors of our neighbours Bideford and always helping other local projects we can’t thank them enough!

UP THE SHAM!!! 🔴⚫️⚽️👍🏻

🚧 Bideford Long Bridge to Close Overnight – Drivers Face Disruption This Week 🚧
Motorists are being advised of upcoming overnight closures on Bideford Long Bridge, set to take place from Monday 11th May to Friday 14th May 2026.
The bridge will be closed to all vehicles between 7:00pm and 6:00am each night, while essential works are carried out to replace 48 LED light bulbs. The project is being completed by a joint team from Bideford Town Council, D S Electrical and Nick Sampson Transport.
Good news for those on foot – the bridge will remain open to pedestrians at all times.
Bideford Town Council has thanked the public for their patience while the work is completed, which will restore the bridge lighting to its full effect.
This is likely to impact evening and early morning journeys, so drivers are encouraged to plan ahead.
Will this affect your travel plans this week? Any tips on the best alternative routes to avoid delays? Share your thoughts and help others plan ahead in the comments.

Happy to help... mainly because we don't want to deal with the wrath of Jen!! 😂💙

After a 4:30am wake-up call to say the main room lights weren't working after a power cut overnight, I had to get a wriggle on and get my tired ass to the gym at an ungodly hour this morning. 😩😭

There are sooooo many of you nutters in there training at stupid o'clock nowadays. Like wtf?! 😱

How do you do it? Seriously how?? 😴

Smiling, dressed, looking like proper-awake humans & ready to train hard at that time of day is inspirational.

And there's lots of you! Over 30 people had come in by 6:30am. 🤯

It was really lovely to see everyone and I'm inspired....but I'm tired.....so don't expect me back in at that time any time soon! 😘

Thanks to Neil and CJ from .s.electrical for sorting it. You da best! ⚡️
