Oak staircase renovation in Barnstaple, North Devon.

A complete transformation of this staircase, replacing the original softwood elements with oak.

The existing newel posts were clad with oak veneer panels, while the original softwood handrail and base rail were removed and replaced with solid oak.

The softwood balustrades were also replaced with solid oak, giving the staircase a much warmer, more substantial feel and bringing the whole hallway together.

Another project completed for a local client.
