A real statement project this one that we had the pleasure of doing the electrics on, incredible work from LJD Builders.

Completely transforming this garden in Congleton 😍

Electrical wise we installed Ansell Lighting and JCC Lighting downlights, supplied from Cheshire Electrical in Congleton, LED tapes under the steps and decking, as well as outside spike lights, and Knightsbridgemla black sockets and switches, really enjoyed this project and really happy with the final look.

Last day before a well earned week off, this year has been mad busy so a break is definitely deserved.

An additional socket installed this morning, chased in leaving no mess or making good required, then a couple of other bits before an afternoon catching up on paperwork 😫

The weather behaved itself today so I was able to get this summerhouse wired in Stoke, it was already fully built so we had to go surface, there was just about enough room to squeeze around the side and back to keep the containment and cables well hidden, really happy with the final look

A recent bathroom and home office referb job completed with Top Marks Plumbing & Heating

New sockets installed and the Internet point moved in the office, then new JCC Lighting X50 downlights and a Monsoon UMD100 in-line timer fan installed in the bathroom, all materials supplied from Cheshire Electrical Supplies.

An update on the garden job in Congleton, LJD Builders have done an incredible job on this one 😍

Electrical wise the outside under-step LEDs are all installed, these will look so good in the dark, the porch Ansell Lighting black tilt downlights are also in, other cabling has been installed around the garden to supply whatever garden lighting the customer wants at a later date, an electrical supply for the hot tub has also been installed.

The summer house is now 1st fixed and very nearly fully boarded, so I'll be back in a couple of weeks to put the sockets and switches on, get fully livened up, tested, and signed off.

A really nice garden project started today with LJD Builders, a huge summerhouse, decking, hot tub, and loads of outside lights and sockets going in, really looking forward to seeing how this one progresses

Alsager padel is now open, we had the pleasure of doing some electrics for this project just before Christmas.

Ongoing works on a rewire in Knypersley, the first floor electrics are now fully rewired, with discreet JCC X50 downlights, and Click Scolmore Deco satin chrome sockets and switches.

All new circuits are wired back to a new FuseBox RCBO consumer unit, complete with surge protection so everything meets the very latest regulations.

The ground floor electrics are currently still fed from the original 1960s rewirable fuse board, but once these circuits are rewired in the next phase of the job, they'll be going back to the new consumer unit as well.

A callout today in Biddulph Moor, that was possibly life threatening for the homeowners.

They got in touch to say they were receiving electric shocks from their kitchen appliances, and that smoke was coming out of one of the kitchen sockets.

Upon investigation one socket had completely burnt out, shorting out the live and earth, resulting in the metal work of any appliance plugged in to the kitchen sockets to become live 😲

This should have tripped the electrics weeks ago, but on top of this fault, two kitchen sockets also had loose earth connections, meaning the kitchen sockets had no earth to them.

All this was causes by loose connections by the original installer, luckily the faults have now been fixed, just in time before a fire or fatal electric shocked occurred.
