While visiting North Oxfordshire Crematorium and Memorial, we noticed an issue with one of the previous ponds. After a bit of investigating, the only way to properly get to the bottom of it was for someone to get in and take a closer look.

And of course, it was going to be John! 🐟

There were plenty of fish around as he got to work, along with one very determined attempt to keep his shorts dry!😂

Following on from yesterday’s video, here’s a little look at the pond at North Oxfordshire Crematorium & Memorial 🐟💙

We’ve been back to visit the pond we completed here, and it’s amazing to see how much it’s come on!

When we left, there were only a few fish… now there are plenty more happily swimming around and making themselves at home. 🌿💦

A return visit to North Oxfordshire Crematorium & Memorial 🌿

It’s always great to come back to a previous project and see how it’s developing, and this pond is maturing beautifully.

The plants are really coming into their own, with the taller planting establishing at the back and the smaller species filling out around the edges just as intended. And the fish are certainly keeping busy — after adding a number of fish from another site, there are now plenty of new fish fry throughout the pond.

Everything is settling in nicely, and with each season it should continue to develop and become even more established.
