Sometimes a skim just isn’t going to cut it… 👀

This kitchen in Hastings needed a proper reset before it could start looking like a room again.

One of the walls was so badly damaged that there was no point trying to patch over the problem. We took it right back to brick, bonded it out to rebuild a solid, level surface, then plastered it along with the rest of the kitchen.

The result? 👌

Freshly plastered walls and ceilings, a smooth finish and a kitchen finally ready for the next stage of its transformation.

Goodbye Artex 👋 and hello to lovely smooth ceilings. 👌

For this Bexhill job, we plastered over the existing Artex ceilings throughout the hall, stairs and landing, giving them a fresh, modern finish.

The old wooden panels had also been removed from the stair, leaving plenty of areas that needed some attention. We made good where the panelling had been, repaired and prepared the surfaces, then plastered everything to leave a clean, smooth finish ready for decorating.

And with staircases being staircases… there were plenty of awkward angles to keep things interesting. 😂

It’s all in the finishing touches 👌

Finishing this job for after a light track was fitted around the edge of the room.

A couple of holes were plasterboarded, the light track was carefully taped and protected, and the whole section was then freshly plastered for a clean, smooth finish.

Before getting started, we carefully protected the cream carpets, aluminium frames and beautiful oak beams—because a quality finish begins with proper preparation.

The walls were then plastered to create a smooth, clean finish, while working neatly around the existing beams and frames.
