In the pub again before 8am.....what can I say!

Love going into our local inns within Bewdley, especially one with so much history behind it.

Thorough sweep through of the openfire today, even stood out in the pouring rain to check the smoke was drawing well out the flue.

Thank you for choosing our services today and we will see you again but next time its when its opening time👍🍻

Damsel in distress.....knights in dark clothing to the rescue!

A customer who had already had their installation all swept ready for the colder nights found herself left out in the cold.

Lit the woodburner then closed the door, sat all nice and cosy for a couple of hours only to find when she needed to put on another log that the door wouldnt open.

Unfortunately no more fire for the rest of the night....so next day she calls us out and this is the fault the fixings on the handle not doing what it should.

All fixed and sorted out, another happy customer who can now enjoy her woodburner today.

New and existing customers having a thorough clean of their chimney flues and fireboxes.

Some needing new seals and issues addressing with vents being stiff because of debris and seized joints.

Good to see that firewood being used meets the requirements for better burning so stove stays efficient...dont compromise on fuels you use if you want to be safe!

Now you see it.....now you dont!

Service carried out on an existing installation for a customer.

Thorough sweep of the flue and firebox, firebricks completely crumbling away so new set supplied fitted and stove all cleaned now, looking new again.

Woodburners will last a long time if you look after them. Seals and firebricks dont last a lifetime they need maintaining, its not all about safety for yourselves its about the stoves efficiency aswell.

Stay on top of the perishables and your stove will run more efdectively and efficiently, helping keeping fuel costs down.

Anyone for a game of two ball?

We all love our furry members of the family but please always check once theyve finished playing that all their toys are accounted for.

These two were at the rear just under the stove and they are combustables so always check👍

In the pub before midday, now thats what I call celebrating your 50th🤗👍🍻

Joking aside all fit and well down at another one of our local pubs, The Bewdley Inn sweeping two openfires.

One was borderline on issues with soot and tar bubbling up blocking the flue opening, causing poor draw, no heat.

As you can see it was in need of a serious deep cleaning through, filling the hoover and black bags to the brim.

Once we finished George lit the fire creating a great warm setting ready for those lunchtime customers to sit all cosy with a pint.

Where did that month go!!

September flew by for us, non-stop servicings carried out across Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Herefordshire!

New and existing customers looking to be ahead of the upcoming months of cold and darker days.

Openfires thoroughly cleaned through, new terminals fitted, along with logburners needing ropes and brick sets.

October will have a different start for us so stay tuned to hear whats going on!
